This has been a really good week for me. I started a job that I really like, I'm working out again and I've been hanging out with my friends. Just - yeah. A really good week. :) Here's to hoping the next one will be just as good.

It's done. The Challenge Fic (or the Swiss Cheese Story) is done. 15,000 words, man. 5,000 of them written today.

I almost can't breathe. REALLY. It's like. It's finally a tangible thing. It's outside my head. I wrote 5,000 effing words in one day. Granted, most of it is crap, but that's what editing and betaing is for. Which now I have to go ( Read more... )

There are days when I poke and prod at the Challenge fic and it just flops down and taunts me with its suckyness. And then there are days when I manage to actually figure out the entire plotline, finish two of the big scenes that had major holes in them, and realize I might actually be able to finish this in my lifetime. I give up soon. This story just refuses to be written. Howie, Brian and AJ can just STAY in my head for all I care! Except then I'd go nuts constantly embellishing it. Ugh, I don't know what to do with it.

I've discovered something about myself recently. I like to clean. Well, I like to tidy up. It's the weirdest thing. I used to avoid it like the plague - I'm still not crazy about it, but once I get started, I just go nuts.
